WELL-WEIGHTED AUTONOMY
A reserve battery up to 7 A⋅h is installed in the vhfBridge housing, from which it is possible to power a VHF transmitter with a consumption up to 2 A. This allows the transmitter not to be equipped with a battery and reduces the frequency of its maintenance.
In the event of a power failure at the facility, the transponder and transmitter operate on a backup battery for up to 75 hours2, continuing to transmit events to the monitoring station.
IMMEDIATE DELIVERY OF THE ALARM WITHOUT INTERNET
The vhfBridge transponder provides the hub with another communication channel with the monitoring center, via VHF radio waves. A transponder allows the installation of Ajax security systems in places with unstable or no Internet connection: in mountain areas, nature reserves or desert areas.
It transmits alarms and system events in a fraction of a second over tens of kilometers1. vhfBridge can be used as a primary or backup communication channel.
