What is that?

JVSG IP Video System Design Tool is a fundamental software for managing and optimizing IP video surveillance systems.

In detail:
  • Increase the efficiency of security systems by reducing costs and identifying the best camera locations.
  • Calculate the precise focal length of your camera lens, viewing angles and pixel density (PPM / PPF) in seconds.
  • Check the identification, recognition, observation, detection and monitoring zones of each camera on a site map.
  • Minimize dead zones to increase the security level of the premises using 2D and 3D modeling.
  • Get estimates of the required network bandwidth and calculate the HDD storage space required for video archives.
  • Upload floor plan or floor plan from JPEG, PNG, PDF or TIFF file and import AutoCAD (Pro) DWG drawings
  • Print or export your project to PDF. Copy your 3D calculations, drawings and models to MS Word, Excel, Visio or other software to create a high quality design visualization.

It is also possible to calculate both network bandwidth and storage space for 30 camera resolutions and different compression methods, including H.264, H.265, Motion JPEG and MPEG-4. IP Video System Design Tool allows the system designer to find optimal FPS and compression that fits the LAN capabilities and automatically calculates the required HDD storage space.

IP Video System Design Tool includes a field of view calculator, lens focal length, CCTV storage and bandwidth calculators, pixel density and resolution calculator and many other CCTV tools so that users can design a video surveillance system quickly, easily and professionally.
