HD-TVI is one of the technologies present in the world of video surveillance.
Introduced by Hikvision , cameras with this technology boast excellent resolutions at both 720p and 1080p. Everything that is possible with the other technologies is also possible with the tvi one, the choice is only personal.

POC - POWER OVER COAX:

This new technology allows to power common coaxial cameras directly via the video cable, on which the signal is sent using the same transmission medium. This technical concept is very similar to PoE, already widely used on IP devices and even earlier on old analog phones.

The coverage in terms of distance of this technology depends on the quality of the cable and the power required by the camera, in any case the guaranteed distances are greater than those of the typical 12V power supplies, which have a much greater loss.

EXIR 2.0 TECHNOLOGY

This technology remedies the classic ailments of the traditional IR illuminator .

In detail:

1) NO IR REFLECTION OR BLEEDING:

Having the IR LEDs positioned separately from the camera lens, the possible internal reflections of IR and IR Bleeding, a serious problem on dome cameras due to the presence of the glass dome, are completely eliminated.

2) BEST IR COVERAGE:

Usually, the IR is integrated into a circular apparatus with various LEDs around the lens.

This often resulted in a circular area overexposed to the center of the image and underexposed corners due to uneven IR coverage. The rectangular EXIR LEDs provide a much more even coverage across the entire image, eliminating this issue.

3) LESS PROBLEMS WITH SPIDERS / INSECTS:

Spiders and other insects tend to be attracted to the heat of the warmer IR LEDS in non-EXIR cameras. This problem decreases with EXIR cameras, even more so with flat-faced EXIR cameras, on which the contact surfaces are clearly smaller.

The camera has an OSD menu , through which it is possible to manage and adjust some functions such as: AWB, AGC, ATW, 2D-DNR etc.

The IR CUT FILTER is a mechanical filter that allows correct display of images in daytime viewing conditions, filtering the typical infrared frequencies, thus improving the image quality. In night conditions the filter is removed as it is necessary to capture the typical IR frequencies.

BLC (Back Light Compensation): it is one of the 3 possible steps in the management of images with contrast, typical situations are: entrances or exits from parking lots, plates, special lights, entrances with shots from inside to outside, etc. Light compensation is one of the most complex operations possible, the BLC function allows a discreet adaptation to these situations

ATW (Auto Tracing White Balance), refers to a modern technology that automatically and continuously adjusts the color balance of the camera according to the color temperature . The ATW is a more advanced function than the AWB (Auto White Balance), and it is very important since in the absence of it, the images could be completely unusable.
