What is H.265 +?

An intelligent algorithm self-developed by Hikvision that can significantly reduce the video bitrate based on a standard H.265 codec. Hikvision's H.265 + reduces the transmission bandwidth and storage capacity required without impacting its video quality, thanks to three key technologies: prediction coding, noise suppression and flexible bit rate control. Optimized for multiple surveillance scenarios, it allows greater use of ultra HD surveillance cameras, such as 8 MP and 12 MP cameras.

ROI (Region Of Interest):
The images deriving from IP cameras are “compressed”, consequently the quality is set during the recording phase. Especially on cameras with a very high resolution, it is often necessary to reduce the quality in order to guarantee a low bandwidth occupation and to record a greater number of days or cameras.
The ROI allows you to define areas where you can set a higher quality (for example a door, the area where the plate usually passes, an exit, etc.). In that area I can set a higher quality thus ensuring a better definition of the image.

Day / Night:
It allows you to adapt the lens to night / day vision, and the relative automatic management of the IR illuminator, when present.

IR CUT FILTER (ICR):
Mechanical filter that allows correct viewing of images in daytime viewing conditions. It filters the typical infrared frequencies thus improving the image quality. In night conditions the filter is removed as it is necessary to capture the typical IR frequencies.

AGC (Automatic Gain Control):

D-WDR (Digital Wide Dynamic Range):
Software solution of the most powerful WDR integrated in the DSP, exactly as it is for digital zoom compared to Optical Zoom, is a software simulation emulation of WDR technology, however extremely useful in circumstances of strong contrast.

3D- DNR:
More advanced version of NOISE REDUCTION management. It allows still images both in low light and in motion. The currently most powerful solution for obtaining maximum results in low light conditions.
