Filtro meccanico che permette una corretta visualizzazione delle immagini nelle condizioni di visione diurna. Esso filtra le frequenze tipiche dell'infrarosso migliorando così la qualità dell'immagine. In condizioni notturne il filtro viene rimosso in quanto è necessario catturare le frequenze tipiche dell'IR.
