Smart Hybrid Light Technology:

What is it about?

Conventional IR cameras provide black and white images that usually result in a loss of detail. Although white light cameras provide colorful images, it can be disturbing when the light is always on.

To address these critical points, Hikvision has created a new supplementary lighting technology: Smart Hybrid Light. Security cameras with Smart Hybrid Light provide three supplementary lighting modes. Users can benefit from selecting the ideal lighting mode for their applications.

How does it work?

Security cameras equipped with Smart Hybrid Light allow users to flexibly switch between three supplemental lighting modes, adapting to virtually any need or application.

POE (Power Over Ethernet):

The advantage of a PoE camera is clear, it can be powered with the same cable with which it communicates without carrying additional power cables and without having to install a separate power system, a PoE camera guarantees constant voltages and simple installation.

Resolution:

This camera has a resolution of 4Megapixel 4.0 MP 4MP (2688 × 1520 pixels)

Bright fixed optics:

This camera features a bright lens with F1.0 aperture and 4mm fixed lens.
The camera will collect much more light ensuring color shots even in the dark.

H.265+ compression

What is H.265+?

A self-developed intelligent algorithm by Hikvision that can significantly reduce video bitrate based on standard H.265 codec. Hikvision's H.265+ reduces transmission bandwidth and storage capacity without impacting video quality, thanks to three key technologies: prediction coding, noise suppression and flexible bitrate control. Optimized for multiple surveillance scenarios, it enables more use of ultra HD surveillance cameras, such as 8MP and 12MP cameras.

ROI (Region Of Interest):

Images from IP cameras are “compressed”, so the quality is set during recording. Especially on cameras with very high resolution, it is often necessary to reduce the quality in order to ensure a reduced bandwidth occupation and record a greater number of days or cameras.
The ROI allows you to define areas where you can set a higher quality (for example a door, the area where the license plate usually passes, an exit, etc.). In that area I can set a higher quality , thus ensuring a higher definition of the image.

Day/Night:

It allows you to adapt the lens to night/day vision, and the relative automatic management of the IR Illuminator, when present.

ULTRA WDR up to 130dB

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): This is the professional solution when you need to work in high light/shadow contrast conditions. It is essential when shooting from inside to outside, license plates, shadowed areas or any situation where there is no homogeneity of light.

BLC (Back Light Compensation):

It is one of the 3 possible steps in the management of images with Contrast, typical situations are (Entrances or exits from parking lots, License plates, Special lights, Entrances with shots from the inside towards the outside, etc.) the light compensation is one of the most complex operations possible, the BLC function allows a discrete adaptation to these situations

AGC (Automatic Gain Control):

Integrated signal amplifier that allows viewing even in critical conditions. It is automatic and does not require specific settings.

3D-DNR:

More advanced version of NOISE REDUCTION management. It allows still images both in low light and in motion. The most powerful solution currently available for obtaining maximum results in low light.
