Functionality

The SG2210XMP-M2 is a multi-gigabit switch with 8 2.5G PoE+ ports and 2 10G uplink ports, ideal for multi-gigabit connections of WiFi 7/6 access points. The PoE power budget up to 160W, compact and fanless design, metal enclosure, and wall and desktop mounting make it a very versatile product, suitable for various usage scenarios. High-performance static routing, advanced security features, a selection of Layer 2 management options and integration with Omada SDN (Software-Defined Networking) meet the needs of business network.

2.5G PoE+ ports and 10G Uplink

Eight IEEE 802.3at/af-compliant PoE ports provide up to 160W of total power to 802.3at and 802.3af devices.* Quickly and easily set up wireless access points, surveillance cameras, IP phones, and other PoE devices without the hassle and expense of installing power cables. Two 10Gbps SFP+ slots provide non-blocking performance and minimal latency, ensuring fast, reliable connections to servers and other switches.

Secure Networking

Security features include IP-MAC-Port Binding and VLAN Binding, Port Security, Storm Control, and DHCP Snooping to defend against a variety of network threats. A built-in list of the most common DoS attacks is available, making it easier than ever to prevent them.
Additionally, Access Control Lists (ACLs) restrict access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on source and
destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, or VLAN IDs. User network access can be controlled via 802.1X authentication, which works with a RADIUS/TACACS+ server to ensure access only when valid user credentials are provided.

Advanced QoS

Leveraging IP, MAC, TCP and UDP identifiers, QoS functionality ensures uninterrupted voice and video transmission even when bandwidth is scarce.

L2 and L2+ functionality

The SG2210XMP-M2 supports a full range of L2 features, including static routing, DHCP server, DHCP relay, 802.1Q VLAN, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol, and 802.3x flow control. Advanced IGMP snooping ensures that the switch intelligently forwards multicast flows to subscribers only, eliminating unnecessary traffic, while IGMP throttling and filtering restricts each subscriber at the port level to prevent unauthorized multicast access. Static Routing, an L2+ feature, is an easy way to segment your network and internally route traffic through the switch for better efficiency.

SDN Omada

Integration with Omada SDN enables centralized cloud management of the switch and enables a variety of additional management capabilities such as Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP).* The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates all network devices, including access points, switches, and routers, providing 100% centralized cloud management — all controlled from a single interface.
In addition to centralized management via web or Omada app, the SG2210XMP-M2 can be easily managed via the intuitive
web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) or a standard command line interface (CLI). Both management methods ensure maximum data traffic protection through SSL or SSH encryption. SNMP (v1/v2c/v3) and RMON support allow you to query the switch for valuable network status information and send traps for abnormal events.
