Security Settings The SG3210XHP-M2 comes with a variety of security settings to protect your network from network threats. Among the available functions are IP-MAC-Port-VID Binding, Port Security, Storm Control and DHCP Snooping, but the device also integrates a list of the most common and widespread DoS attacks, to prevent them more quickly. In addition, the Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) feature limits access to sensitive network resources by rejecting packets based on source/destination, such as MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports or VLAN ID. User access to the network can be controlled via 802.1X authentication, which works in synergy with a RADIUS/Tacacs+ server to ensure access to users with valid credentials. |
