The TP-Link Omada SG3428XPP-M2 is a Layer 2+ multi-gigabit PoE++ managed switch designed for businesses and professional networks that require ultra-fast connectivity, powerful PoE power, and advanced management. Equipped with 8 x 2.5G PoE++ ports (up to 60W per port) and 16 x 2.5G PoE+ ports (up to 30W per port), it provides high performance and scalable infrastructure for power-hungry devices such as Wi-Fi 6 access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones.
With a total PoE budget of 500W, this switch can power multiple network devices simultaneously, eliminating the need for separate power adapters. In addition, with 4 x 10Gbps SFP+ slots, it ensures ultra-fast data transmission and stable connectivity in high-traffic environments.
Traffic management is optimized through Static Routing, which improves efficiency and reduces the load on enterprise routers. Advanced features such as VLAN, ACL, QoS, IGMP Snooping, OAM and DDM provide granular control, advanced security and quality of service for a more reliable network.
To ensure maximum business continuity, the switch supports Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS), which provides rapid protection and immediate recovery from network failures, preventing interruptions and downtime.
Integration with Omada SDN enables centralized cloud management, remotely accessible via web and Omada app, while for more advanced configurations it is possible to use standalone management via web, CLI, SNMP and RMON, offering flexibility and complete control of the network.
