H.265+ compression

What is H.265+?

A self-developed intelligent algorithm by Hikvision that can significantly reduce video bitrate based on standard H.265 codec. Hikvision's H.265+ reduces transmission bandwidth and storage capacity without impacting video quality, thanks to three key technologies: prediction coding, noise suppression and flexible bitrate control. Optimized for multiple surveillance scenarios, it enables more use of ultra HD surveillance cameras, such as 8MP and 12MP cameras.

WDR 120dB:
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): This is the professional solution when you need to operate in high light/shadow contrast conditions. It is essential when shooting from inside to outside, license plates, shadowed areas or all situations where there is no homogeneity of light. The higher the value in db, the greater the camera's ability to manage the strong difference in backlighting present. Common WDRs usually reach 80db, the human eye is able to recognize a difference of up to 100db. This model reaches up to 120db, managing very strong contrast levels. ROI (Region Of Interest):
Images from IP cameras are “compressed”, so the quality is set during recording. Especially on cameras with very high resolution, it is often necessary to reduce the quality in order to ensure a reduced bandwidth occupation and record a greater number of days or cameras.
The ROI allows you to define areas where you can set a higher quality (for example a door, the area where the license plate usually passes, an exit, etc.). In that area I can set a higher quality , thus ensuring a higher definition of the image.

Day/Night:
It allows you to adapt the lens to night/day vision, and the relative automatic management of the IR Illuminator, when present.

IR CUT FILTER (ICR):
Mechanical filter that allows correct viewing of images in daytime viewing conditions. It filters the typical infrared frequencies thus improving image quality. In night conditions the filter is removed as it is necessary to capture the typical IR frequencies.

AGC (Automatic Gain Control):
